Christmas Tastings

We hope that you can join us in the run up to Christmas when we will have a selection of wines from our Christmas Cases open for tasting.                                                                                    Free tastings take place each Saturday from 12noon to 5pm.

Saturday 14th December                                                                                                                Six wines from our Festive Favourites case will be open for tasting.

Our Saturday afternoon courses are ideal for the interested beginner who enjoys drinking wine and would like to know a little more. With a great selection of wines to sample, this fun yet informative course will guide you through wine jargon and help educate your palate for years  of wine enjoyment to come. Honing your senses: An Introduction to Wine Tasting

Learning to taste wine rather than just drinking brings a whole new level of appreciation. Let us guide you through the swirl, sniff, savour and spit. Learn what to look for when you’re tasting wine: colour, acidity, balance, alcohol, tannin, sweetness, fruit and length. A great way to develop your palate while tasting a wide range of wines from around the world.

You will get the opportunity to taste a range of grape varieties and contrasting styles from some of the most exciting wine producers in the world.
