Just arrived from Cahors, we tasted these wonderful Malbec wines from Chateau Pech de Jammes in France in January past, how life has changed. From the home of Malbec this 5-hectare estate produce savoury, fruit filled and thought-provoking wines, well worth a try.
Chateau Pech de Jammes 2015 The flagship wine from the property. 100% Malbec, wonderful balance of fruit from the vineyards highest slopes, intense nose of black fruits with hints of eucalyptus, savoury and silky with the depth to work with robust meat dishes. Decant if possible, for an hour. Only 180 bottles.

Pech de Jammes 2017 Another easy drinking 100% Malbec from the estate, from clay limestone kimmeridgien soils with a silky surround and black fruits to the fore. Again, don’t be afraid to decant this for at least an hour.

Chardonnay, Chateau Pech de Jammes 2018 Fantastic chardonnay from only 1 hectare in the domaine, beautifully crafted in the style of a top Chablis, restrained, elegant so fresh and round, sadly our allocation is 110 bottles!
