The vineyard, born in 1994, facing west in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba on a calcareous-clayey soil, produces grapes for a powerful, structured wine. Vignarionda is the Barolo vineyard par excellence that is produced in Serralunga d'Alba. The wine-making process of Barolo Vignarionda takes place in horizontal fermentation tanks with temperature control for 12-15 days. The wine matures over 24 moths, partly in small wooden barrels and partly in large wooden barrel. "A tight nose with a blend of fresh red berries and nutshell-like oak. Mineral, floral and light minty notes lurk under the surface. Medium-to full-bodied and layered palate, where the fruit is further condensed by some firm tannin. Polished oak on the finish.
