      Tasting Notes and Description
Straw yellow colour with golden hints, to the nose it shows intense and persistent perfumes of wildflowers and aromas of yellow pulp fruit such as peach, apricot and golden apple. To the palate it's rich and velvety with a good dose of freshness and sapidity to balance the great softness. Dry finish, persistent and intensely fruity.

Ideal with fish dishes, oven-cooked or grilled, roast white meat, fresh cheeses and roasted nuts.

Casal di Serra was one of the first truly "selected" Verdicchio made in this variety's production area. It was created in the 1980s by selecting the best grapes grown in the Montecarotto vineyard, and later enriched with grapes from another three plots situated in the most suitable areas for cultivating Verdicchio di Castelli di Jesi. All the values of a great indigenous variety find expression in this wine. Contact with its own natural yeasts during fermentation and in the ageing process gives Casal di Serra particular properties of richness and personality, without altering its fine balance and special elegance.

All Umani Ronchi's vineyards, from the Verdicchio to the Montepulciano, are farmed organically. For them, this was a technical decision rather than an ideological one. Organic farming requires balance in nature and a range of crops, trees and herbs that make up a biodiverse environment. The plants thrive on Umani Ronchi lands leaving space for a viticulture that gets the best out of the grapes they grow without compromising the quality of the wines. At Umani Ronchi, organic means quality.

"A ripe, floral nose with baked apples and lemons, pressed flowers and a hint of ginger-tinged honey, turning immediately vivid and intense on the medium-bodied palate and driving through the long, tightly packed finish. Yet, it remains a well-proportioned verdicchio with a lovely, silky texture. From organically grown grapes. Fun to drink now"
