Ripe, intense gooseberry flavours are laced with hints of cut grass, lemon drops and green apples. The wine is light to medium bodied with pleasant ripe tropical fruit flavours like lychee and passion fruit, impressive acidity and a long finish round off this intense Sauvignon Blanc.

The cool climate of the Casablanca Valley is heavily influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, providing excellent conditions for this variety. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are raised in Casablanca's Nimbus vineyard in the section of Casablanca Valley that is closest to the sea.

"The young and pristine 2022 Nimbus Sauvignon Blanc is very pale and has a pungent nose with good ripeness and 13.5% alcohol and very good acidity. Reading the technical sheet, I was surprised to find out that there is 7% Chenin Blanc in the bottled wine! 42,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2022. Drink to 2027."

"The 2022 season was very good for sauvignon blanc on the Chilean coast, and this is a very good example of one that comes from an area close to the Pacific (about 15 kilometers from the sea) in the Casablanca Valley. It has creamy notes, ripe white-fruit flavors, and a very good depth of those flavors. It was aged on its lees in stainless steel for four months, which adds notes of yeast and spices to the fruit."
