      Tasting Notes and Description
Well-balanced and slightly racy. It reveals notes of lemon, lime and white flowers associated with discreet hints of white peach, limestone/minerality (terroir) as well as an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity and silky and offers a slight acid frame alongside lifting minerality and finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe yellow peach, apricot and slight touches of quince, ripe William's pear associated with a discreet hint of lemon and clementine. Great length. This beautiful Chablis has a sunshine quality to it. It is clean and precise.

Enjoy it with cheese such as Soumaintrain, platters of seafood, fish terrine (seabass, monkfish, salmon) or smoked salmon with sorrel.

The Gueguen family is based in the hamlet of Préhy, just 7 km southwest of Chablis. The winery is situated in the village of La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne.

Established in 2013 by Céline & Fréderic Gueguen the Domaine continues with the prosperity of the existing vines. They respect the tradition and the fragility of the terroir. All the cultural techniques that care about the environment of the vineyard allows preservation of the aromatic complexity of this wine from different plots.

"Utterly Chablis on the nose, delicate citrus and stone dust. Gently chewy texture adds length to the fresh, bright fruit. Good presence and length, and Good Value. Drink to 2029."
16 points. Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com (January 2025)

"Frédéric has parcels of villages level vines in three different communes, so the finished wine is a beautifully representative example of the entire region of Chablis. His 2023 version has turned out beautifully, offering up a bright and expressive bouquet of apple, pear, beeswax, a very refined foundation of limestone minerality and a floral topnote redolent of lemon blossoms. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows lovely depth of fruit at the succulent core, with fine mineral inflection and grip, zesty acids and lovely focus and balance on the long and complex finish. First class Chablis AC! Drink to 2045."
