Cherry-ruby colour. Good intensity, dominated by the tertiary notes of the aging, with a predominance of memories of American oak. Coconut, vanilla, and spices reminiscent of white pepper. The fruit appears elegantly and clearly in the form of red, cherry, and ripe fruit. Complexity and balance with notes of musk, incense, scrubland, thyme, dill, and orange peel.

Balanced and complex, the nuances detected on the nose are confirmed, warm notes of blackcurrant on the palate, spicy notes of incense and musk, combined with black fruit. Touch of aromatic herbs predominating fennel, thyme and dill, good structure, and persistence, refreshing acidity. Very pleasant and easy to enjoy.

A good match for delicate dishes such as roast chicken.

"Pretty traditional in style with a savory, reserved nose. Dry earth, baking spices, preserved plums, orange peel and iron. Juicy and firm on the palate, showing restrained flavors. It has slightly rustic tannins and is deceivingly light, but this is a Rioja I’d drink for a second glass. Delicious now with the development it delivers, but this will hold."
