      Tasting Notes and Description
Tasting notes: Deep red color with black notes and violet hues. Great complexity on the nose, with intense aromas of red and black fruits, spicy and mineral notes. As time passes in the glass it opens and reveals aromas of vanilla, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, full and concentrated on the palate, ripe tannins, complex and velvety with a persistent and elegant finish. Its fruity and mineral sensations express an elegant long-lasting wine.

      Suggested serving temperature: 15-16 ° C.

      Aging potential: 12-15 years.

Region of origin: Gualtallary, Tupungato, Mendoza, Argentina. Made and bottled on the property.

Vineyard: Soils of alluvial origin, of loose structure and very permeable. The best areas are selected from the best plots of each varietal, according to the homogeneity of the terrain. They are harvested in a different way. Special pruning, irrigation and canopy management to maintain the natural balance and obtain grapes of the highest quality.

Composition: Variable proportions according to the year of Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Vinification: Manual harvesting of each variety separately at different times according to adequate maturity. Selection of bunches in the vineyard and selection table at the entrance of the winery. Put in a fermentation tank by gravity. Fermentation using indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures, 25-30°C. Post fermentation maceration of variable time according to tasting. Once the maceration is finished, they use malolactic fermentation and aging in barrels and from each batch the best of each varietal are selected by tasting, and the best barrels are selected from them.

Aging: aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

"Lots of verve and depth. Punchy black pepper, incense and pine cones to the blackberries and dark chocolate. A hint of balsamic, violet extract and mussels. Very full-bodied and concentrated, but it does not feel like a heavy wine. The fresh, medium-high acidity and structured, fine-grained tannins offset the dense fruit and the mid-palate weight. Long and ample finish. 60% malbec, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 10% merlot. Drinkable now but much better in two to three years."
