Cherry red in hue, bright and clean. The wine has a lovely raspberry and red cherry fruit bouquet. On the palate, it is earthy, delicate, elegant, and subdued. Delicious, with superb acidity and mineral undertones, the palate has very wonderful tannic backbone. The appropriate term here is velvety. With lingering flowery and earthy scents, the finish is lengthy and compelling.

Facing due south and overlooking the picturesque towns of Miltenberg and Bürgstadt the slopes of the Centgrafenberg are home to most of the vines. The Pinots and Riesling especially love the warm and iron rich soils formed by the weathering of red sandstone. The quality and struture of the wines is ensured by minimal intervention in the vineyards, reduced yields, gentle vinification and long barrel aging.
