Velvety and tasty. The vibrant red colour translates into rich aromas and flavours of cherry, blackberry and spices. This well structured wine integrates nuances of oak wood with round tannins to provide a rich palate with very fruity flavours.

70% Garnacha, 20% Tempranillo and 10% Syrah,

Authentic, small scale artisan winemaking is practiced in Bodega Jesus Romero of Rubielos de Mora. Jesus is a lover of good wines and his local town of Teruel and the surrounding land within the province of Aragon. Along with winemaker Juan Vicente Alcañiz and his father Vincent this wine has been crafted from Garnacha, Tempranillo and Syrah. It sees no oak ageing and is not clarified, stabilised or filtered.

"The red wine produced with the grapes from the young vines they planted in the village of Rubielos de Mora is the 2024 Rubus. A blend of 70% Garnacha, 20% Tempranillo and 10% Syrah, it was cropped from a very good and balanced year, fermented destemmed with neutral yeasts and aged in concrete. It has a deep ruby-garnet color and a fruit-driven and clean nose with aromas and flavors of ripe berries and aromatic herbs. It has 14% alcohol and a medium-bodied palate with fine-grained, chalky tannins and good balance and freshness. It's a bargain. 18,000 bottles produced. It's bottled in three different lots. Drink to 2030."
