Deep ruby-purple hue. An intense nose of ripe blackcurrant, offset by notes of cedar, sweet tobacco and the herbal garrigue of the Languedoc. Full-bodied, the wine is voluptuous on the palate, with prominent yet ripe tannins supported by complex flavours of wild cherry, five spice, and sunbaked earth. A pleasing acidity propels the wine to a long, salivating finish.
Best paired with hearty dishes, the Réserve d'Excellence de la Jasse 2024 is ideal for sharing with family, friends and good food.
"A Languedoc wine with a New World Cabernet Sauvignon feel."
This promise has been consistently fulfilled for more than two decades, thanks in part to Bruno's collaboration with the late Patrick Léon, renowned former winemaker at Château Mouton Rothschild (Pauillac), Opus One (Napa Valley) and Viña Almaviva (Maipo Valley).
Each vintage of Réserve d'Excellence showcases the expressive power and elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon, arguably, the world's most celebrated grape, through the lens of the Languedoc's unique terroir.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon from limestone and gravel soils. The 2023 harvest yielded exceptionally ripe grapes. A cold pre-fermentation maceration over three days contributed to the deep ruby-purple colour. Fermentation took place in stainless steel, followed by a three week maceration on the skins to extract ripe, structuring tannins and maximum flavour. The wine was partially aged in oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
