"Cask sample. Gorgeous nose – so floral – rose, dried violets and apricot. A generous palate where the floral notes jump out and coat the palate. Very fine tannins, mouth-watering freshness with good concentration of crushed flowers, dark earth and the signature 2021 salinity. Lovely and so utterly drinkable. A very long finish. Drink 2025 - 2040."

"Côte-Brune" is the only plot selection in the Domaine. It was first made in 1976 and derives from the plot on "Côte-Brune" land registered denomination. This wine, full of complexity, allows us to express the character of this very typical locality.

Domaine Jamet respects the terroir and a passion for wine in its work, in the heart of the Côte Rôtie hills.

"Here, the wines have a very recognisable, personal "stamp", they are chic. And that is a miracle. Jean-Paul's Côte-Rôties can be recognised by their deep colour, notes of black olive and slight smokiness. They are big on the palate, dense in some vintages, and notes of camphor or menthol may appear in cooler years."
