Where to start is up to you but take a look at the sites below and hopefully you will be engaged by one or two.

Jancis Robinson

“Voted the world's most influential wine critic in polls in the US, France and internationally in 2018, Jancis views herself as a wine writer rather than a wine critic. She writes daily for JancisRobinson.com and weekly for the Financial Times.”

Jancis has some great accolades and is backed up by a fantastic team made up of several Masters of Wine. Her site covers a vast range of topics including tasting notes, wine regions and wine vocabulary to name a few. Again, some articles are free but others require a subscription.

Robert Parker

Robert Paker

Since 1975 Robert Parker has been writing an “independent, consumer’s guide” to wine. The Wine Advocate has over 50,000 subscribers, in every state in the United States, and in over 37 foreign countries. This site is primarily for tasting notes but also covers travel and food and requires a subscription. It may not be the best place to start for a wine novice but a good tool nonetheless.
