We have 2 Tasty Tastings in May. Two of our favourite winemakers are making the trip from the other side of the world to hang out in Crossgar and share the fruits of their labour with us. Our Tasty Tastings are really informal, Saturday afternoon tastings in our Crossgar shop where you get to meet the people behind the products, taste with them and get a feel for where the wines come from.
Saturday 17th May 3-4pm, Crossgar. A Taste of Australia with Pikes
Pikes are hugely popular with JN customers – Red and White Mullet have legions of fans so we can’t wait to hear more about the team who make them. If you’ve never tried them before this is an opportunity too good to miss. There will be plenty of time for chat and questions afterwards so please join us for a very relaxed afternoon.

Saturday 24th May 12-1pm, Crossgar. Marvellous Marlborough
The ever popular Dr John Forrest is making his way to Crossgar for a special tasting to introduce the new wines that have just arrived. If you’re a fan of Heart of Stone already, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to try the new John Forrest Collection Sauvignon Blanc. We’ve got a Grüner Veltliner and a rather fabulous Pinot Noir to show off too. There will be plenty of opportunity to chat with John afterwards so please join us for what promises to be a great tasting.

We’re having a mini summer celebration with great wines, some great food, and a few treats for the beer fans out there. No ticket necessary, clear your diary and join us in Crossgar for a fantastic afternoon.
