The creator of Heart of Stone will be here in person to host our next Tasty Tasting on Saturday 24th May.
John Forrest is the man in charge of Forrest Estate wines in NZ. They are based in Marlborough but they also have vineyards in Central Otago and in Hawkes Bay and make a very wide range of gorgeous wines that capture all that is fantastic about this beautiful country.
What this man doesn’t know about Sauvignon Blanc is just not worth knowing and as if to prove the point, John and the team have just picked up a gold medal for their Estate Sauvignon Blanc at the 2014 International Wine Challenge – a fantastic, well earned achievement for all concerned. We’ll be taking a look at his delicious new John Forrest Collection Sauvignon and a few other new Forrest wines that have turned up in Crossgar recently.
The tasting will take place in our Crossgar shop tasting room on Saturday 24 May from 12-1pm.
