Looking forward to a big event? The JN Gift List is rapidly becoming a popular choice for people with a major event to celebrate. That could mean a wedding, a baby on the way, a christening, a bar mitzvah, a major anniversary or a birthday.
Here at James Nicholson Wine Merchant both you and your guests will find a warmly personal and reassuringly efficient service, ultimately providing you with gifts that are just a bit different from the norm.
First, we help you create your Gift List from our wine portfolio. Where possible, we invite you to visit our Crossgar showroom so that you can wander around and compile your Gift List at your leisure, taking advantage of the encyclopaedic knowledge of our wine advisors, who are on hand to help you choose the perfect wine portfolio for you. Our service has proved to be especially popular with those who already possess the practical essentials for a home.
We manage the List on your behalf, taking instructions from guests who wish to purchase wine for you, keeping you updated on their choices, and arranging storage or delivery to you as required.
We can suggest three equally effective ways of informing your guests that your Gift List is held by JNWM.
A simple card slipped into the invitation. We supply neatly designed cards that give the guests the information they need.
Alternatively, you may wish to enclose a selection of information with your invitations, including maps and notes on places to stay. A short sentence informing guests that your Gift List is held by James Nicholson Wine Merchant and adding our contact numbers will suffice.
We offer a third option. We will write briefly to all or some of your guests, and to any friends and relatives who cannot be on the invitation list but whom you feel may wish to send a present, advising them of our service and details. Please note that we will need printed address labels for the guests or friends you would like us to contact.
