Pack of 12 x 750 ml Bottle One of our most popular wines for a variety of gatherings and events, suitable for everything from barbeques to weddings with the handy screwcap closure making it a hassle-free enjoyment enhancer. The hot dry Mediterranean winds produce the perfect ripening environment offering up fully ripe, flavoursome berries. On the nose, the wine exudes red fruit with hints of spice. This is a medium bodied wine with soft tannins and good structure - a classic Syrah. Subtle oak nuances smooth out the long finish.
"This attractive red made from pure Syrah in the South of France displays robust primary berry fruit aromas with bright, pepper and tapenade-like black fruit flavours tinged with spice and underpinned by a refreshing twist of astringency. 88 pts." (thewinegang, March 2012).

Press Reviews

"The 2008 Pinot Noir is matured in Francois Frere barriques, 50% new, for 18 months and bottled without fining or filtering. Medium-deep ruby colored, the nose is very fragrant, floral, with notes of violets and lavender over red cherry and crushed raspberry plus nuances of cedar, thyme, loam and moss. Crisp, medium bodied with a medium level of fine grained tannins, it has a long earthy finish. Approachable now, it should cellar to 2016+. 90 pts." (Lisa Perotti-Brown, eRobertParker.com, Oct 2010).
Dog Point was awarded 3 stars in the New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification, 2012 (Matthew Jukes and Tyson Stelzer).
