Pack of 6 x 750 ml Bottle Gold Medal winner at International Wine Challenge 2010. Michel Forget is the sixth generation to continue the wine-making tradition of the Forget family. This Rosé Champagne is a blend of 60 % Pinot Noir, 20 % Pinot Meunier and 20 % Chardonnay. The rosé colour comes from adding red Champagne wine to the reserve cuvee and through the delicate blending an intense and fruity bouquet is evident with ample mouth feel and great finish.
...... Step forward the heavenly strawberry-scented Forget-Brimont Rosé made by Michel Forget. This rosé is made predominantly from premier cru pinot noir grapes grown at Ludes in the heart of black-grape champagne country, whose pretty cherry pink colour leads on to a delectable ripe, elegant, raspberry and strawberry-fruit-charged palate. Put smoked salmon on your plate and pour this into your glass and you will have a memorable pink meal. (Jane Macquitty, Times 19 June 2010).

Roederer Cristal 2002 Pk6

Pack of 6 x 750 ml Bottle Writing in the March 2010 issue of Decanter magazine, doyen of wine commentators Michael Broadbent commented: "At a Roederer tasting, I noted its recently released Cristal Brut 2002. We English tend to drool over old Champagne, but this Cristal was the finest, most refined I can recall: pale with a pure gold sheen; distinctive, effortlessly sublime, crusty nose, exquiisite flavour, great length"
Seriously precocious nose with notes of apple blossom, fresh strawberries, clotted cream, cashews and lightly toasted hazelnuts plus a barely detectable hint of oak. Great concentration of apple crumble flavours with very fine bubbles and a crisp backbone of acid. Long creamy finish. Drink 2010 to 2029. Tasted March 2009. (Lisa Perrotti-Brown, eRobertParker.com, May 2009).
"55% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay. Straw. Very mineral and focused on the nose. Sharp as a spear. Yet with great delicacy. So tightly laced! Really tastes as though it is only just becoming drinkable. Really tight and fresh and tense. Admirably different. Very long. Beautifully constructed. 19 pts. Drink 2012 -2022." (Jancis Robinson Purple Pages, 28 Nov 2012).

Pack of 6 x 750 ml Bottle This offers up an extremely expressive and flattering nose. It is graceful on the palate with density and richness and the fruit possessing an appealing sweetness. An absolutely delicious wine from Francois Mitjavile of Le Tertre Roteboeuf.
Recommended by Oz Clarke in his Decanter magazine article Clarke's Dream Dozen Chateaux for Value: "Bourg's superstar made by St Emilion's philosopher-prince Francois Mitjaville. Rich, tart cherry syrup brushed by herbs and warm limestone." (Decanter, Sept 2012).

Pack of 6 x 750 ml Bottle This is one of the finest Rose Champagnes on the market. It has a delicate, elegant strawberry scented fruit, lemon and cream bubbles with a lingering finish. Memorably described by Observer Food Monthly as Little short of love in a glass.
"A composed fine and aromatic palate; very moreish. An exemplary definition of wine; full bodied and with depth. This regal champagne would be revered in any House." (La Revue Du Vin de France - Champagne, December 2010).

Rossignol Volnay 1er Cru Des Angles 05

Pack of 12 x 750 ml Bottle The estate has been run on biodynamic principles since 1997, pesticides, chemical fertilisers and sprays being eschewed in favour of more environmentally friendly husbandry. We tasted this from cask and Nicholas Rossignol was certainly not off the pace in the fantastic 2005 vintage (one of the best vintages ever, especially for reds). Concentrated, fresh and beautifully ripe; aromas of raspberries, black fruits, mulberries and a hint of forest floor characterise the nose of this superb wine. On the palate, the fine clean tannins are perfectly encased in the fruit and a touch of minerality is detectable. Minerality again shows in the dense, long finish.
"Very agreeably ripe nose without much drama or concentration. Easy peasy - gentle for early drinking. Juicy again. 16.5 pts." (Jancis Robinson Purple Pages, 12 Aug 2007).
