Chateau Pesquie Terrasses Rosé, Ventoux, France, 2019

Delightful pale pink in colour with flavours of wild strawberry and peach fruits. Clean, crisp, fresh and medium-bodied, a terrific rose that’s going to shine indoors or out over the coming summer months. “Les Terrasses” rosé is a delightful aperitif. Suited to grilled meats and
fishes, raw or grilled vegetables, charcuterie, soft white cheese, spicy dishes. Fresh fruit based desserts and sorbet.

Serve fresh at around 8° C.

Round and smooth palate with a lingering soft finish. Hints of oak, soft tannins and voluptuous flavours makes for early, easy drinking. Great with steaks and barbequed meats. The nose entices with its abundance of ripe plums, blueberries, slight spiciness and heady whiffs of violets. Dark berry fruit, liquorice and notes of sweet tobacco and cocoa follow through onto a vibrant mid-palate with bright, svelte tannins and a silky texture. The wine shows exceptional balance with fresh, integrated acidity. Red plums, black olives and lavender linger on a mouthwatering finish.

Great with steaks and barbequed meats.
