SEAN
Montepulciano is Italy’s second most widely planted variety though not as widely known, it has been forging some stunning wines for years. This wine, hailing from the Marche Region (and to confuse matters further, is known locally as Rosso Conero) displays Italy’s classic combination of; Inky, red-fruit driven, medium body, brisk acidity and crunchy tannin. The seasons and the accompanying fayre may not be demanding of a “heavyweight red” - just yet, this harmonious red fills the spring void perfectly in your red wine arsenal.
Pair with tomato based pasta dishes and alongside most hard cheese. Saluti! “
