This crisp, dry and aromatic Sauvignon from Domaine Bellevue has lovely perfume, calling to mind pear, passion fruit, citrus, elderflower and quince. A supple palate with delicate flavours of gooseberry and grapefruit with subtle touches of green apple, kiwi and passion fruit to delight the palate and engage the senses. It is well-balanced with a long pleasing finish.

Serve alongside chilli crabcakes and all manner of soft cheeses, particularly goat's cheese.

The first Touraine Chenonceaux wine from Domaine Bellevue. It covers the vineyards along the Cher River from Bléré just west of the village of Chenonceaux all the way to Saint-Aignan and a couple of villages further east. The vineyards are on both sides of the Cher.
