Domaine Roche comprises of 25 hectares of vineyards, where the vines have an average age of 50 years. They are located in the beautiful village of Cairanne in the Southern Rhône Valley. The terroir is clay-limestone.

This wine is a blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah & 25% old vine Carignan.

Brimming with dark fruits and spice. The finish is long and the alcohol is balanced. Perfect alongside a rich beef or sausage casserole, grilled steak or rack of lamb.

Despite being one of the youngest winemakers in Cairanne and owning one of the newest domaines in the village, Romain Roche is descended from generations of winegrowers. He currently farms 25 hectares on a rockly plain bordering Rasteau and Plan de Dieu.

James recently visited the Southern Rhône, visiting domaines and tastings hundreds of wines. It is fair to say that the wines of Domaine Roche left an impression, we are thrilled to bring these wines to Ireland and to share the pleasure that Romain imbues his wines with.
