      Tasting Notes and Description
Crisp and refreshing with underlying aromatics of tropical fruits, lemon and lime. The refined minerality giving the wine a more linear look and allowing a balanced palate weight and mouthwatering

Anthony Girard, an endearing and energetic young winemaker, started his own production in 2012 after completing his training at the family estate. Attached to its Sancerre roots, he set up in Récy, a hamlet in the south of the appellation and takes on 8.5 hectares on excellent soils. Two thirds of these are composed of '' caillotes '' (Sancerre limestones) bringing freshness and fruityness to its wine and a third of flint for power and minerality.

Anthony leads the estate with rigorous work in the vineyard in respect of the soil and the environment to harvest grapes in full maturity, bursting with fruit. Precision is key in the winery, the vinification is carried out masterfully and allows to express sauvignons of great aromatic purity and a remarkable balance.

Menetou Salon is one of the excellent Sancerre satellite appellations within the orbit of Sancerre that also make sauvignon blanc wines. This primarily means Pouilly-Fumé, well known in its own right, but also the smaller Loire appellations of Menetou-Salon. These wine are richly textured, with ripe gooseberry aromas, bracing acidity, and flinty-smoke flavors. The aromas of passion fruit In its youth and fruits like peach and apricot are simply delicious. In addition, connoisseurs will undoubtedly appreciate the floral and mineral touch that these new wines possess.

"From limestone soil, this wine shows an intriguing mix of minerality and ripe yellow fruits. It is textured with good acidity and broad with richness. Drink from 2022."
