      Tasting Notes and Description
After a decade of development and testing, Exton Park's belief is that there is only one way to make world class sparkling wine in the UK - patience.

The Reserve Blend is their signature style. The RB range draws on their 10 year library of reserve wines that they have curated and stored in their winery at Exton Park since 2011. Winemaker, Corinne Seely, composes the blends from a huge variety of flavours captured from their 60 acre single vineyard each year. Each bottle of RB32 harmonises on average 32 base wines. It is based on a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, with a minimum of 3 years on lees and a dosage of 7 g/l.

Pale gold in colour, the Brut has a generous nose and a bright lemony character with notes of passion fruit and honey. Minerality in the mouth indicates a good, balanced structure, with an intense backbone and a lengthy finish with a whisper of white pepper, brioche and baked apple.

Corinne Seely, head winemaker (her experience was gained, at 24 years old with Domaine de Chevalier and a further stint at Château Lynch-Bages) says, "The possibility exists for Exton Park Vineyard to become one of the best ambassadors for English Sparking Wines in the world. Exton Park has chosen a different course that's definitely not vintage and not quite non-vintage, with an approach that puts 'reserve wines' front and centre, with the newest cuvées playing a supporting role."

"Bright, bright lemon yellow. I can smell the chalk. Wildflowers. The smell of thick lemon peel as you slice it with a sharp knife and the oils fill the air. Heady florals build as the wine stands in the glass - like the waxy, heavy white hyacinths on my kitchen table that fill the air when I walk into the kitchen in the early morning. Wet granite rocks after a storm. Lemon bonbon. Sherbet. Such intense lemon on the palate that it tastes as if it is electric current running through citrons turned into chandeliers of citrus crystals catching every blade of light. A wine that carves its way down your body, like a world-class skier carving her way down the pristine white of a black run. So seemingly effortless, so graceful, so exquisite, so skilled. Grandeur, power, purity. Drink 2021 - 2029."
