Figure Libre Freestyle is the name given to an ambitious range of wines designed to shake up conventions and break new ground for expressing the inherent style of Languedoc and Roussillon. Turning its back on appellation rules, it favours freedom of choice in terms of varietal range, both single varietals and blends. Figure Libre Freestyle reflects a desire to think outside the box and bring together grape varieties that would otherwise never have met in the same bottle.
A blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache Noir, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Carignan Grenache, all organically grown.
Ruby red with some purple highlights. Vibrant, expressive nose of red and black fruits, pepper, spice and “garrigue”. A full bodied wine, with an expansive mouthfeel, integrated tannins and a long, silky finish.
"Bright, dense crimson. Very savoury and appetising. Lovely blend with nothing out of place. Mouth-filling and juicy with just a hint of the smoothness and mineral quality of ink. Almost tastes as though there were a drop of Cabernet Franc in here. Lovely current drinking. Good Value.

“…Borderline outstanding blend. It offers lots of plum, licorice and crushed herbs, medium to bull-bodied richness, solid purity of fruit and character filled, well-made profile... 89 points."
