Situated in the Minervois, a seductive region in the west of France's Languedoc, tucked in between the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Black Mountains and the Canal du Midi, the family-owned Château St Jacques d’Albas benefits from a wealth of natural advantages to produce impressive wines.
Over 60 hectares of forest and garrigue, teaming with wildlife, and an 11th century chapel, protect the 26 hectares of vines. Our philosophy from the beginning has been to limit yields and take an organic approach to managing the soil and the vines.
Following upon the success of the Chateau St Jacques d'Albas red in JN Wine, we thought iit wise to add to the superb wines from Graham and his team in Languedoc. The most recent addition is a beautiful and charismatic white, it will work beautifully with grilled fish, straight from the barbecue or most white meats and soft cheese.
