Boekenhoutskloof was awarded 2012 Winery of the Year by the prestigious Platter's Guide to South African Wine Guide. The Wolftrap white was also accorded Superquaffer of the Year status in the Guide.
This unusual blend of Viognier 48% (for spice), Chenin Blanc 41% (melon) and Grenache Blanc 11% (white peach), contributes to an intriguing and harmonious quaffing experience. Components are fermented and aged partially in French oak before blending and bottling.
This is a great value, food friendly wine with lively floral flavours, peach tones with almond and yellow apple notes. It is elegantly textured with great length. The judicious oak ageing delivers depth and richness. The mouthwatering palate delivers a persistent, lingering finish.
