Pra Soave Doc Classico 2010

The Pra vineyards are 30 km from Verona in Monteforte d'Alpone, in the very heart of the Soave Classico District. 28 hectares in total, 20 ha for white wine. He made his first Soave in 1983 and for years Graziano Pra has been practising organic farming. He is regarded as one of the best Soave producers in Italy. This excellent Soave opens with an exquisitely aromatic nose that leads on to a palate smothered in crisp, beautifully delineated fruit. The persistence, balance and clean, minerally finish add up to an absolutely delicious bottle of wine.

Another dinger, and a close second to the wine above [Sainte Rose barrel aged Roussanne 2009]. Pale, delicate and very fine.
